Heeeeeyyyyy, everything's OK? Hope so! Quickly: as you can easily guess, that's another shitty WTS compilation for your listening pleasure! Don't know about your neighbors' though, he-he... Anyway, the process remains the s(h)ame. Your host here in a dervish kinda mode, opens the vaults and rips the stuff the way exactly he listens to them! Ooops, I've gone too far this time, right? I'm so way out of ma head that I speak for myself in third person, not a good thing... So, I tried to keep a balance and not to include "mainstream hits" like Psychotic Reaction or Pushin' Too Hard but not go the other way too with stuff way to geeky. Fuck man, we're talking 'bout garagepunk here, rock and roll's ultra crude, primitive and mindless prick so no fuckin' geeks allowed!!! Hope you enjoy yourself with this as much I did when I was creating this obviously Tim Warren influenced little monster!!! 100% Teen Unpsychedelic 60s Teen Punk!!! Cheers!!!

ReplyDeleteWay awesome! Thank you so much! A new WTS compilation is always a highlight and much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
MLP
A New WTS Garage Punk Rockin' Comp is out and guess what? It's saturday night, the fridge is loaded, and I might go fucking crazy tonight! Thanks a lot my friend (thanks also for the Johnny T. news - I must save some money for that... not easy these days.)
ReplyDeleteThanks Μιχάλη!
ReplyDeleteGreat comp! I love nothing more than some loud and crude mid-60s stomparama! I know this is a lot to ask but if this exists as a lossless file, is there any chance of you uploading that as well? If not, crank up the volume and c'est la vie!
ReplyDeleteYay. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave
Thanks for another incredible comp!!! But have you decided not to offer in lossless? I miss the FLAC version :-( Anyway... Keepunkrockin'!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
ReplyDeleteAs far for FLAC files I didn't kept them on the last two posts because of the stats. Every single post in here has/had through the years the triple downloads in lossy so I thought that the overriding majority prefers high-end mp3s instead of the lossless compression... Anyway, I'll have to see it again I guess...
Cheers!
Great comp! Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mihaleez - Cool comp!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great post! I lost your two wonderful Cramps collections recently when my hard drive crashed. Any chance of a re-up?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
The Stooge
Great comp, one more time ! Merci & bravo !
ReplyDeleteThanks for this superb comp. But will there be a reupp of Unrough Power? Netkups doesn't work for me.
ReplyDeleteYou do great work and your sets deserve the best, but don't rely on stats...FLAC's rule
ReplyDeleteHey Mihaleez, I've been slackin' since you went on vacation (loved that picture of Johnny) - so I'm catching up. This is a great comp that I'm sure you had a lot of fun putting together. There's a bunch of songs that I didn't have & hadn't heard. I also hadn't heard the songs from the Cobra single that you posted. I wonder why that wasn't on the Complete Stax/Volt Box? I didn't remember it - I looked and didn't see it. Also, thanks for the info on Johnny - I'm still a huge Dolls/Johnny fan. I live in VA. USA, went to NYC for the first time in Jan. '73 and saw the Dolls for the first time and later saw Johnny a couple of times. Even though one of those times he was nodding the whole time and kept falling down and had to be picked up - may as well have not been there - Walter carried the show (guess I had to see him like that though). The other time he was great.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, I would like to hear the Teenage Shutdown comp. If you're able to, would you please re-post but not in flac. Thanks.
Keep On Keepin' On Brother!
Thanks for lossy link!
