Hey! This is really something special for the White Trash Soul team and we thought it's cool to share it with you guys and gals. Henry Rollins dedicated the most of the second hour of his radio show on our 'L.A.M.F.T.M.J.B.' essay! He blog-ed about us on his site and L.A. Weekly the day before and what wrote and said on air, makes us REALLY PROUD and somehow red faced, cause after all you all know we are down to earth kids, right? Hehe!
I grew up with "Damaged" and "My War" so it's kinda easy for you to understand how much honored I felt with this. The same thing for Jean Philippe cause we both know who Henry Rollins IS!!!
Anyway, if you want to check it out too here it is:
Thank you Mr Rollins! Stay tuned for more Rock & Roll!

Kurt Baker - "Brand New Beat"
Imagine for a moment that Elvis Costello wasn’t an aging millionaire but a young up-and-coming songwriter with big hair and even bigger tunes, channeling the Ramones and Cheap Trick along with a healthy helping of Stiff-era British guitar pop. Kurt’s powerful pipes are eerily reminiscent of the early Costello at his poppiest, and today is the day with this record!” - Shake Some Action! ***CLICK IMAGE TO BUY***

White Trash Soul Hero: Jerry Leiber (April 25, 1933 – August 22, 2011)
...on Bob Dylan: “A sloppy, white motherfucker with no rhythm” and what bothers him most about Dylan: “His father was a pharmacist.” I don’t know, Jerry. What the fuck does that mean? “What does it mean? Doesn't that just say it all?" R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
Nick Curran (September 30, 1977 - October 6, 2012)
“Let’s say when I was first going with the T-Birds, the last thing I wanted to do was go up there and look like Jimmie Vaughan – which a lot of people would try to do. So I’m like, well, if I’m gonna play guitar with the T-Birds, I’m gonna have to look like Sid Vicious or something. That’s what I did and a lot of people didn’t like it. But at the same time, I was kind of telling people, hey, listen with your ears, not your eyes. You don’t have to play a ’50s Stratocaster and wear vintage suits to play blues.”

Hey!
Originally this "White Trash Soul" thing was meant to be a real printed magazine...
You know, one of those rare things today that you put on library and you are able to have them anywhere (par example....toilet).
Many reasons made me to do it this way. So let's go interactive! This is a place about real Rock N Roll! Cheers!
This is a space 'bout real rock n' roll! Created with the hope to promote interest in this devil's music. My only intention is just to share my passion, entertain and maybe educate. As you can easily understand I'm not against file sharing. I strongly believe that a music fan must be able to give a listen first before buy. A serious music lover won't stop buying records even if he/she got them on computer files. I know it and I know it well. If someone owns the rights to these recordings and wants me to remove the links, contact me on the blog's e-mail (see "Want List" window) and I'll do it swiftly.I STRONGLY RECOMMEND visitors to buy these records if they like them. Record labels like the ones you see on the links panel, MUST CONTINUE in any purpose on what they're doing. And they do excellent work on keeping real rock n' roll out in the streets. Help keep those labels going in these difficult times. PS: No time for Re-Ups, sorry (except if the comments panel's packed with such requests), so act quickly.
